Our Location

The Most Northerly Point of Ireland

At Atlanfish, we operate from a state-of-the-art factory that combines tradition and modernity, just like our production process.

Our offices are located in the former Carndonagh train station, an iconic building in the town, having opened in 1901 and closed a few years later in 1935. Renovated and expanded to include all the necessary technologies to ensure quality production, we take pride in our location near Malin Head, the northernmost point of Ireland.

As part of the Wild Atlantic Way, Malin Head is renowned for its ideal crab fishing conditions. The Gulf Stream allows crab to move here from the North Atlantic, making it a natural reserve for the species.

The nutrient-rich currents and rocky seabed provide the perfect habitat for these sought-after crustaceans to flourish. Our experienced fishermen use sustainable practices to ensure the long-term health of the marine ecosystem while delivering a consistent and bountiful supply of premium brown crabs.

Our commitment to quality extends from the pristine waters of Donegal to the plates of our customers around the world. We understand the importance of delivering flavorful and responsibly sourced seafood to businesses in various industries, from foodservice to retail.
